The Newport Public Education Foundation sponsors the 5K Run For Education and Family Fun Run/Walk along Ocean Drive on Mother's Day Weekend. The Run engages the entire community and attracts more than 500 participants. All proceeds benefit the Foundation’s Excellence Grants.
Sponsored by local businesses, friends and organizations, the Run offers a wonderful opportunity to show support for our public schools. Running and walking mothers receive flowers and chocolates.
